Enter through main entrance, go down the hall to the right of the elevators, first room on the right. Please note this space has a hard surface floor. Be sure to bring a blanket or mat if you wish to sit on the floor with your baby.

Inova Moms Return to Work Group
Find out how other moms are growing into this new role and what you can do to ease your transition back to work. An experienced maternal-infant health educator facilitates the informal discussion. Postpartum Support - Arlington
Talk with other new mothers who are finding the postpartum weeks overwhelming. If you are feeling sad, anxious, angry or irritable, group support can help. Group facilitated by registered nurse, baby most welcome.

Postpartum Support Virginia
Founded by a FIT4MOM instructor, Postpartum Support Virginia is dedicated to helping women suffering depression and/or anxiety during pregnancy or in the first year following childbirth. The mission of Postpartum Support Virginia is to provide information and resources to women via telephone or email and social support through free peer-led support groups. Postpartum Support Virginia also assists new or expecting moms with information about mental health professionals, postpartum doulas, and postpartum exercise programs.
This popular group provides working moms an opportunity to learn strategies for breastfeeding success while balancing the demands of pumping, motherhood and working. Common topics include pumping strategies, breast milk collection and storage, childcare concerns, employer support, business travel, partial breastfeeding and much more. Moms are encouraged to attend before they return to work. A Board-Certified Lactation Consultant/RN moderates the group. Babies are welcome.

While breastfeeding is a natural process, it can be challenging especially in the early weeks. This popular group meets weekly providing encouragement to new and experienced breastfeeding moms through the first year and beyond. Discussion topics may include sore nipples, infant weight gain, nipple shields, milk supply concerns, formula supplements, exclusive pumping, introducing solids, infant sleep and much more. A Board Certified Lactation Consultant/RN is present to answer your questions. Babies are welcome.
When: Wednesdays at 12:00 pm and Thursdays at 10:30 am
